Vogue’s best kept secret

Vogue’s best kept secret, they transport heroin throughout the world, no I’m just kidding,

Photographer Steven Meisel.  Theres  a reason I prefer “Vogue Italia” over the American Vogue, Vogue Italia often publishes some really off the wall, avant garde, and balls to the wall-risky photo spreads.  Nearly a year ago they focused an issue on “BIG” girls in lingerie.  And shit them girls looked rather sexy, ask me, (then again, I’m part hispanic, and we like big asses-CULO).  My point is Vogue Italia has “MOXIE” kid, not afraid to leave traditional, conservative ideas of fashion campaigns behind, which is where Steven Meisel fits in.

Meisel has done work for the American Vogue as well, but his best work appears more often in the Italiano’s version.  He has shot for Versace, Valentino, Dolce & Gabbana, and Clavin Klein, among others.  He photographed his friend Madonna for her 1992 book “Sex”, and is now considered one of the best in the industry.

Alright enough of the bullshit, here is some of his work to enjoy,
